In 1974 Madrid, 18-year-old Pablo, son of Martin and his family, returns to his ancestral home in Uzwil, Switzerland, accompanied by his friend. However, they are met with a culture shock, discovering hippies and rural communes instead of the expected farmers. Meanwhile, Pablo's parents are also en route to Uzwil, setting the stage for a dramatic reunion with old friends and secret love affairs.
