A Genesis Found background

A Genesis Found

A discovery of an unknown skeleton in Moundville Archaeological Park sparks widespread unease and triggers a series of dramatic events that will impact the community in profound ways.

In 1938, a Civilian Conservation Corp cadet discovered an anomalous skeleton at Moundville Archaeological Park, neither animal nor man. The cadet, John Patton Jr., concealed the secret for decades, revealing it in a sensational novel that claimed extraterrestrials existed and were involved in human genesis. The novel destroyed Patton's career and left him shunned. Years later, his grandson Gardner, an anthropology student, is forced to confront his grandfather's past and follows in his footsteps when his cousin, a documentary filmmaker, arrives to search for the skeleton.
