A young Scottish boy named Peter Marshall dreams of sailing the seas, but God has other plans for him. After receiving a calling to become a minister, Peter leaves Scotland for America, where he serves as pastor of the Church of the Presidents in Washington, D.C. and eventually becomes the Chaplain of the U.S. Senate.
