In the midst of tumultuous French Algeria, two Brooklyn wrestling promoters embark on a quest to find a legendary Algerian wrestler, only to find themselves mistakenly recruited into the French Foreign Legion.

In the scorching Algerian desert, two promoters, Jonesy and Lou, embark on a mission to find a wrestler for their show. However, their journey takes an unexpected turn when they're duped into joining the Foreign Legion by the cunning Sergeant Axmann. As they dig deeper, they uncover Axmann's sinister partnership with the ruthless Sheik Hamud El Khalid. Along the way, Lou's vivid mirage visions become a recurring theme, including a fleeting glimpse of a New York newsboy who lamented being stuck with a poor corner.
