Two brothers, Tim and Frank, rob a store to fund their dying mother's medical treatment in Germany, but the heist goes awry when they're caught by police. They steal an ambulance to escape, only to find a dying patient and a hospital intern, Julie, inside. Julie's warning that the patient will die if they don't return to the hospital creates a moral dilemma: should they save the patient or their own mother?
