Anatahan

A group of Japanese sailors are marooned on the remote island of Anatahan for a prolonged seven-year period, starting in June 1944.

A group of Japanese sailors and soldiers, left stranded on the isolated island of Anatahan after their boats are sunk by US planes in June 1944, soon discover they're not alone. A couple already inhabits the island, and the man's displeasure is palpable. As the group's dynamics are put to the test by the presence of the woman's beauty, they must confront their own discipline, cohesion, and selflessness.
