Appointment in Berlin background

Appointment in Berlin

In a high-stakes game of espionage, a double agent uses cryptic messages to convey vital information to his homeland, but when his true identity is exposed, he and his lover must make a daring escape to evade capture.

In 1938, after the Munich Agreement, a disillusioned RAF officer protests England's appeasement of Germany by vandalizing a landmark. Discharged as unfit, he joins British intelligence and becomes embroiled with a German woman from a prominent family, whose brother is a high-ranking Nazi propagandist. Recruited by the Germans, he makes radio broadcasts from Berlin, spreading propaganda and secretly conveying coded military information to the British. However, his cover is eventually blown, and he and his lover must flee to survive.
