Rinku is chased by her own uncles' goons while trying to escape with her boyfriend Vishu and his friend Madhusudhan. The trio is eventually forced to get married, with Vishu being kidnapped and married to Rinku against his will. After the marriage, Rinku and Vishu try to part ways, but Rinku reveals that her boyfriend Sajjad won't agree to an annulment. Meanwhile, Vishu's fiancée Mandakini discovers the truth about his marriage to Rinku. As the story unfolds, Madhusudhan discovers that Sajjad is not real, but an imaginary character.
