A struggling English major, Calum, discovers a passion for rap battles and decides to incorporate the theme into his thesis. He reaches out to a renowned battler, Behn Grym, to gain insight for his project. However, their initial meeting sets off a chain of events that drastically alters Calum's life, culminating in his first real battle.
