Young adults Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow meet in West Dallas, Texas, and are drawn to each other's lifestyle. Despite obstacles, they form a romantic relationship and decide to join forces to commit crimes, primarily bank robberies, to make money and have fun. They gather a small gang of accomplices, but their willingness to shoot to kill increases after their first fatal encounter. As their notoriety grows, they become the target of Texas Ranger Frank Hamer, who seeks retribution.
