The Three Stooges, living with their mother, decide to leave home and seek their fortune. They buy a fake deed to a lost gold mine from a con man and head west to find the treasure. After some mishaps, they strike it rich, but two crooked miners try to steal their gold. The Stooges take refuge in an abandoned hotel, where they outsmart the crooks and emerge victorious.
