In a seaside carnival, a rock club owner, Christy, is smitten with his star performer, Natalie, but she's interested in a wealthy businessman, Stanley, who's trying to buy out the club. When the club is sold and Christy is forced to stay on as a party clown, he concocts a plan to sabotage the club and kidnap Natalie to escape her and Stanley's relationship.
