A photographer/reporter, Pat Marvin, narrowly escapes a gambling den with her life after taking compromising pictures. When the magazine is sold, the staff, led by editor Larry Burke, band together to purchase it. Larry and Pat then embark on a mission to capture the elusive Cynthia Van Loan, a high-society debutante, and uncover a murder, reveal the killer's identity, and expose her fiancé's deceitful plans while securing the photos.
