Dead by Monday is a dark comedy that follows the story of Julie, a vulnerable young woman still grieving the loss of her husband, and Alex, a struggling writer who has lost his purpose and wants to die. Their paths cross when Julie falls off a cliff and Alex, who was about to take his own life, is interrupted by her cry for help. As they continue to cross paths, Julie unwittingly foils Alex's suicide attempts, and they eventually form a suicide pact and escape from a hospital. However, their journey takes a series of absurd and perilous turns as they try to achieve their goal of ending their lives at Niagara Falls.
