Elopement

As Jacqueline leaves her graduation dance, she is torn between pursuing her own dreams and fulfilling her father's expectations of studying abroad.

Industrial designer Howard Osborne pushes his daughter Jacqueline to pursue a career in design, but she falls in love with her psychology professor Matt Reagan and decides to elope. The Osbornes, furious at the news, confront the Reagans, leading to a disastrous start to the marriage. As the two families, who dislike each other, travel together to get the Reagans' car fixed, Jake and Matt start to question their decision and attempt to return home.
