In the early hours of January 1, 2018, two lovers find themselves in an empty Madrid street, their connection palpable. They share a common experience, having crossed a mountain tunnel on the final night of 1999. Despite their different names, they remain the same age. Their goal is to attend a rave party, where they'll join hundreds of young people celebrating the dawn of the 21st century. However, their journey takes an unexpected turn when their car breaks down at the edge of the woods, amidst the distant sounds of music. As the night wears on, the party and their lives fade away, leaving them lost and uncertain.
