Natalie, a friendly and outgoing person, moves to Pittsburgh to start a new job at Carnegie Mellon and purchases a condo recommended by the university. She arrives six weeks early to settle in and make new friends, but is surprised to find her neighbors are a challenging group, with some being standoffish and others having issues with each other. The building's super, Mark, is a constant presence who has learned to keep to himself due to his job. Natalie makes it her mission to befriend her neighbors, starting with Mark, and as they grow closer, she discovers his reasons for keeping to himself. As Natalie and Mark develop feelings for each other, they also work together on a Walk for Alzheimer's event, navigating the complexities of their new relationships with their neighbors.
