In a small town, a new parade organizer, Grace Long, is tasked with finding a replacement for Santa Tom White, who is injured and unable to participate in the annual Christmas festival. She sets out to find Ben White, Tom's son and a former protégé, who has abandoned his family's Christmas traditions to pursue a writing career in New York City. After convincing him to help, they form a bond during a long Uber ride, but Ben remains hesitant to take on the role of Santa, leading to a romantic complication with Grace.
