Foxhole in Cairo background

Foxhole in Cairo

A agent German in Libya is given permission to spread false intelligence to General Rommel.

The 1942 war between the Germans and British is intense, with the Germans pushing the British towards Cairo. Field Marshal Rommel aims to destroy the British 8th Army and capture Cairo. To achieve this, he sends two skilled spies, disguised as civilians, into British-occupied Cairo to gather intel on the British defenses and the 8th Army's remaining strength. The spies, fluent in English, pose as a half-German, half-Arab and an American, using captured British vehicles and fake identities to blend in. However, their mission is soon detected by a British spotter plane, and Capt. Robertson of the Intelligence Service must navigate a complex web of characters, including a femme-fatale, Jewish Zionists, a drunken British Major, and Nazi collaborators, to unmask the spies before the German general offensive.
