A dying Earth forces Bran to embark on a desperate quest to reach Rhea, a distant planet colonized by humans 582 years ago.
A young refugee named Bran flees to Rhea through The Gate, only to find that the early settlers refuse to accept more Earthlings. He teams up with Ohsha Rainer and together they embark on a quest to stop her ship from harming thousands of refugees, potentially becoming the key to a harmonious future for humanity.
