The movie Harmonia is inspired by the biblical story of Genesis, but gives a feminine twist to the tale of two mothers and their half-brother sons. The story follows Sad Sarah, a harpist, and her husband Abraham, the conductor of the Jerusalem Philharmonic, who have no children. When Hagar, a young horn-player, joins the orchestra, Sarah's life changes as they develop a unique friendship. Hagar offers Sarah a baby, and after the child is born, Hagar leaves the orchestra and the child with Sarah and Abraham. Twelve years later, the family is complete with two sons, Ben and Isaac, but secrets and tensions simmer beneath the surface.
