Two aspiring millionaires, June, a clothing model, and Tommy, a travel agent, meet at a wealthy family's wedding, each assuming the other is rich. Unbeknownst to them, their misunderstanding is aided by the forgetful millionaire, J. Westley Piermont. As they start dating, they engage in a competition to outdo each other, but their efforts are thwarted by their lack of actual wealth.
