Blake Blackman, a New York writer, escapes to a remote Appalachian cabin to find inspiration for his horror novel. Unbeknownst to him, his lover Angelica, a book illustrator, and her dog join him on the retreat. As they settle in, they discover an amber alert about missing boys in the area.
