In 1995 Algiers, a tumultuous city, Fatima, a determined masseuse, faces a chaotic day at the local hammam. After witnessing a terrorist attack on her way to work, she must navigate the tense atmosphere and maintain order amidst the chaos. Complicating matters is the arrival of Meriem, a 16-year-old pregnant girl, who seeks refuge at the hammam, pursued by her irate brother, Mohamed, who seeks to avenge his family's honor.
