Detective Sergeant Ihaka, a tough cop from Auckland, is sent to Sydney for a policing symposium, where he partners with Kirsty Finn, a by-the-book detective. They're tasked with reviewing a 3-year-old cold case of a murdered model, initially thought to be a thrill kill by a psycho. However, as they dig deeper, they uncover ignored evidence and find themselves in a deadly game of blackmail and deceit involving high society.
