In Taiwan, Li Ruo-nan recovers her daughter Dodo from a foster home and reunites with her boyfriend Chen Li-tung and his cousin Chen Chen-yuan, who are ghostbusters. They visit a remote village to research the Yunnan religion and its connection to a mysterious tunnel. However, their investigation awakens an evil entity, and Dodo becomes ill.
