A merchant seaman, Tony Gunther, wakes up in an apartment after a brawl, accused of murder. He joins a secretary, Laura Ring, in a theft, but she double-crosses him and steals a stained glass window. Gunther follows her to Melbourne, where he discovers she's involved with a millionaire criminal. He teams up with an insurance investigator and a friendly fence to recover the stolen treasures and rescue the window.
