A surfer named Splash seeks new experiences in Provincetown, Massachusetts, but finds himself surrounded by gay men and rejected by local lesbians. He meets Axel, the "King of the Straight Scene," and falls for Jennifer, but her nerdy brother Eugene causes tension.
