Jack, a 25-year-old man, is hesitant to leave his parents' house, commit to his seven-year-long relationship, and work in a nursing home, where he often clashes with 80-year-old Helen. During a rare trip to New York City, Jack and his friend Merle sneak into a trendy club, where Jack meets a glamorous model who thinks caring for the elderly is noble. Smitten, Jack adopts her world, feeling guilty about cheating on his girlfriend but looking good in his new suit. His nursing home friends are impressed by his deception and self-discovery. However, Jack must choose between his two lives, and a conversation with his father reveals that there's more to the old man than he initially thought.
