A former child star, tired of playing youthful roles, abandons her acting career. The studio replaces her with her doppelganger, a fan club president who bears a striking resemblance. Meanwhile, a group of former child actors, desperate to entertain soldiers, will only succeed if they can convince the young actress to join their show, unaware that she's not who they think she is.
