A martial arts expert, Ha, is released from prison after a chance encounter with a ruthless killer, Fung, who is targeting top martial arts masters. Ha offers to help the police catch Fung in exchange for his freedom. As they investigate, they discover that Fung is following a martial code and targeting opponents who are weaker than him. Ha initially refuses to fight Fung, but when the killer threatens the woman he loves, he is forced to confront his opponent and uphold the true meaning of martial arts.
