A lone female driver, Charlotte, is stalked by a group of bikers at a roadside snack stop, and later, she picks up a hitchhiker named Max. They stop at a seedy diner run by a woman, where the bikers reappear, and a violent confrontation ensues. Just as all hope seems lost, the diner's owner chases them off, but when Max disappears after using the restroom, Charlotte is left to unravel the mystery.
