A desperate agent plots to make a struggling musician a missing heir to gain him a job, hiring an actor to pose as an attorney and convincing the owner of a swanky nightclub to feature the musician. However, the plan backfires, causing the musician to lose his chance with a rival orchestra and leading to a series of events that put everyone's life in danger.
