In 1870 Texas, a government agent named Martin Benson is tasked with taking down a gang of gun smugglers who supply arms and whiskey to Indians. As he investigates, the gang's hideout is raided and Martin's family is brutally murdered. His sister, Jenny, is left traumatized and unable to speak. The surviving siblings, Arias, Susy, and Daniel, find a wounded outlaw hiding in their shed and decide to nurse him back to health in hopes of extracting information about the gang from him. When Martin arrives in town, he's shocked to discover the wounded outlaw is actually his own long-lost brother, who has been working with the gang.
