Love Nest

In the midst of postwar New York, Jim's struggles to maintain his apartment building and his relationship with Connie hinder his progress on his novel. The arrival of Roberta, a charming ex-WAC from Jim's Army days, further complicates matters, pleasing his friend Ed but causing tension with Connie. Meanwhile, tenant Charley, who is soon to marry Eadie, lends Jim the funds he needs to save the building, but these funds come with a catch - Charley has obtained them by charming rich widows.
