A wealthy widower, Krishna, is tricked into investing in a business by a cunning city businessman, Dhanush. After being cheated and imprisoned, Krishna meets a fellow inmate who becomes his potential bride. His children are separated and forced into labor, with his daughter sold into prostitution and his son joining a street performance group.
