In this movie, a producer named Bob Temple tries to win the heart of his star actress Diana, but she doesn't take him seriously as a romantic partner. To prove himself, Bob befriends Lady Arlington, who is unhappy in her marriage and seeking attention from her financier husband. Bob becomes embroiled in a weekend of deception at the Arlington country house, where he is used by both Lady Arlington and her friend to make their husbands jealous. However, his plan works too well, and Bob finds himself in danger from both husbands.
