On the morning of Oliver's wedding, he and his best man Stanley become engrossed in a jigsaw puzzle, a wedding gift from Stanley. As they work on the puzzle, they're joined by a taxi driver, the butler, a policeman, and a messenger boy, all of whom get caught up in the activity. Meanwhile, Oliver's prospective father-in-law, oil baron Peter Cucumber, grows increasingly frustrated as the groom's tardiness delays the ceremony.
