Mickey and Minnie's peaceful picnic is disrupted when Mortimer Mouse, an old friend of Minnie's, pays a visit and starts causing chaos with his pranks and flirtations towards Minnie. Mickey becomes increasingly agitated, and their car is not happy either. The situation escalates when Mortimer gets a nearby bull enraged and takes off, leaving Mickey to get entangled in a red blanket. The car then comes to the rescue to help Mickey out of his predicament.
