Middletown

In the small Irish town of Middletown, a young boy named Gabriel is told by his father and preacher that he is chosen by God for a special purpose. Years later, Gabriel returns to his hometown as the new preacher, but finds it plagued by drinking, gambling, and lack of faith. His brother Jim and sister-in-law Caroline are no exception, with Caroline refusing to have their child baptized and Jim struggling with his own moral compass. As Gabriel tries to save the townspeople, including his brother and sister-in-law, he uncovers surprising revelations that challenge his own beliefs.
