Two siblings Jan, and Dean, are sent to stay with their uncle Woody on a secluded island, expecting a relaxing summer holiday. However, they soon discover the island is deserted, overrun by jungle, and plagued by strange noises. The truth is revealed when they find out the locals are surf-crazed monsters who don't take kindly to tourists. But when a property developer threatens the island, the siblings and the monsters must put aside their differences to save their new home.
