After World War I, two soldiers try to find the father of a baby girl who was orphaned when her father was killed in action. They mistakenly identify several different men as the father, causing chaos and disrupting a wedding. In an effort to avoid authorities, they flee and use their lunch wagon to earn money, but accidentally knock out the bank president and are pursued for bank robbery.
