A mischievous elderly dog and Arthur's incontinent father create chaos and discomfort for the family at home.

In a dystopian future where euthanasia is legal and widespread, a stressed middle-aged man is pushed to his limits caring for his demanding and medically fragile elderly grandfather. When a neighbor proposes a seemingly easy solution to his problems, the man is forced to confront the morality of a society where death has become a viable option.
