Popeye, a movie star, arrives at a ship and catches the eye of Olive, who only has eyes for him. The pair heads to a carnival, where they're joined by Popeye's rival Bluto. The two men engage in a series of competitions, while Olive performs a hula dance with Popeye's help. Just as it seems things are going smoothly, Bluto abducts Olive and leaves her tied to the tracks. Popeye arrives just in time to rescue her.
