A young widow, a dance student and mother, flees to California after her husband's passing. To make ends meet, she becomes a burlesque dancer, but the club's new owners transform it into a strip club, forcing her to perform more revealing routines. Her father-in-law, who hired a photographer, captures her performances and uses the images to try to gain custody of his grandson.
