Chino Bull, a former marshal, is forced back into action after his prospecting partner's murder. He becomes the law in town, forges a bond with Mitch Hardin, and earns the enmity of the Logan brothers. Meanwhile, Hardin's eastern roots are challenged by his new love interest, a saloon owner named Frenchie, who doesn't welcome his girlfriend with open arms.
