World War II has depleted the range of able-bodied cowboys, leaving rancher Dad Mathews to deal with cattle rustlers. He enlists the help of John Paul Revere, a Special State Investigator, who recruits the daughters of the district into the WAPS, a group trained in military procedure and equipped with radio sets. The WAPS, along with a "walkie-talkie," help trap the rustlers in their hideout.
