Richard, the youngest brother of King Edward IV, will stop at nothing to claim the crown. He convinces the ailing King that his elder brother, the Duke of Clarence, poses a threat to the young princes, and Clarence is imprisoned and eventually drowned. After the King's death, Richard becomes Lord Protector and has his two nephews taken to the Tower, where he later declares them illegitimate and accepts the crown.
