A struggling filmmaker, Rocky, feels his work lacks the creative spark to make it big. Desperate to succeed, he leads his classmates on a night out, unaware that a cannibalistic spirit, the Great Chino, terrorizes a local tavern every seven years. As the creature unleashes terror, Rocky becomes obsessed with capturing the carnage on camera, putting his friends in peril.
