A group of co-owners and crew members on an abandoned freighter, the "Sea Tiger", are searching for hidden riches, including diamonds and gold ingots, left behind by the Japanese after WW II. When one of the co-owners is murdered, the skipper, Ben McGrun, must clear his name and uncover the killer, navigating a complex web of suspects, including a bartender, an insurance investigator, and others with questionable motives.
